“Hey, why is the fan signing in December but the fan meeting in February, hyung?”
At Subin’s question, Seo-jun, who was holding out a set of trump cards to Eun-soo, chuckled.
“The fan signing only needs a venue that fits 100 people, so there were a lot of places we could rent. We managed to book an early date. But for a fan meeting, the venues are way bigger, and with Christmas and year-end stuff, they were already booked. January wasn’t available either. The soonest option was February.”
“Ahh.”
“Plus, we have to think about what to do during the fan meeting—and practice, too.”
“Didn’t you say it’d be casual?”
Seo-jun grinned.
“Everyone’s excited. I’ve got to show them the best version of myself.”
Eun-soo, meanwhile, paid zero attention to her two older brothers. Her eyes were locked on the trump cards in Seo-jun’s hands with deep, serious focus.
There it was—the Joker.
She had to avoid it.
As someone who’d played many games with Seo-jun oppa, she knew this much: you could never tell which card was which based on his expression. It was packed with actor-grade deception. Trusting his face? A total trap. Might as well close her eyes and pick blind.
Even now, just watch.
“!”
Every time her hand hovered over a card, Seo-jun would flinch slightly and make a fake face as if it were something suspicious.
“This one!”
And the card Eun-soo picked?
The Joker.
“Uwaaaaah!”
Now in fifth grade and considered a reliable upperclassman at school, Eun-soo rolled dramatically across the floor. Seo-jun and Subin burst into laughter.
“What the heck?! It wasn’t like this last time!”
Eun-soo, self-proclaimed master of “Old Maid,” slammed the floor with a crushed expression. Subin, a first-year middle schooler, laughed and chimed in.
“That’s because Seo-jun hyung went easy on you last time.”
“…Huh?”
At that, Eun-soo turned to look at Seo-jun. Her teary cousin-eyes locked onto him. Seo-jun, adopting a mock-serious tone, replied:
“You’re going into sixth grade soon. It’s time you learned the bitterness of life.”
“…?”
“No more mercy.”
“!?!?”
The betrayal on Eun-soo’s face made both boys burst out laughing all over again.
[Title: Got smacked by my mom lololol]
So I was planning to do dawn prayers every day until the fan signing + fan meeting lottery results came out. I was like:
“Dear God, Buddha, Blue Dragon, Baby Angel, Royal Highness Prince Seongnyeong, All the Heavenly Spirits!! Please let me win!!” (I was serious.)
So I got up early in the morning, filled a bowl with water, and was praying on the balcony… when my mom came out of her room and screamed:
“KYAAAAAA!”
Apparently she thought something was rattling outside and assumed I was sneaking snacks again, but instead saw what she described as a ghost murmuring things while sitting down lol
What I looked like at the time:
White pajamas + messy bedhead + flashlight on phone turned on + kneeling + muttering fervently + shadow reflected in the window.
Mom: KYAAAA!
Me: (turns around) “Mom?”
Mom: “KYAAA!? (regains self) YOU!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS EARLY IN THE MORNING?!”
Then I told her the reason (praying to win Seo-jun oppa’s fan signing or fan meeting), and… yeah. She smacked me (still hurts ㅠㅠㅠ)
Mom: “Try waking up like this to study during exams!!”
Me: “I can’t do that.” (serious)
Mom: (grabs the back of her neck)
Anyway. I did dawn prayers again this morning!!
+) I’ll keep praying until the announcement day!! Please let me win ㅠㅠㅠ
– I was laughing from the first paragraph lolol
=22 Wait… what even is this lineup: “Blue Dragon, Baby Angel, Royal Highness Prince Seongnyeong” LOL
=Honestly I get the Blue Dragon one. My parents and teachers used to say it so much when I was little, I kinda believe it’s real.
=22 It’s got that Santa Claus kinda vibe, right?
=33 LOL We know it’s not real but it feels like it could be
= So we all agree kids today still grow up watching “Spring”… right? lol
– Mom went through a full-on horror experience in the middle of winter lolol
= Right?? And the reason’s hilarious—“I thought she was raiding the fridge again” LMAO
= We need to focus on the again in that sentence lol
= Repeat offender confirmed 🤣
– And why the white pajamas though LOL
= Plus messy hair and chanting?? Yeah that’s scary AF
= The reflection in the window was the final boss ★
= lololol
– But seriously, why the flashlight?
= OP: It was dark lol. I didn’t want to turn on the living room lights and wake up my parents.
= A wholesome intention that backfired into creating a full horror scene with cinematic lighting—🔥 fire attribute dutiful daughter lolol
– The bottom half was a disgraceful daughter 😂 Saying she couldn’t even get up for exams lmao… but valid. Can’t do that. (serious)
= 22 Like come on. It’s exam season, Mom. I’m not waking up early for that.
= 33 But this is for Seo-jun oppa’s FAN SIGNING. And FAN MEETING.
= 44 Literally not even in the same league!!
= Why is this thread filled with fire attribute fans LOL
– Are you doing it again tomorrow? lol
= OP: Obviously!! ヽ(•̀ω•́ )ゝ✧
With Seo-jun’s first-ever fan signing and his first fan meeting in a year, Sprouts all over the world were buzzing.
– I’m not even Buddhist, but I live near a temple so I went to do 108 bows. The monk greeted me all happy like, “Ah, benefactor! Welcome!” …Honestly, I think I’ll keep going even after the results come out.
= LOL omg
– I’m just trying to be a good person. Then Santa or the Blue Dragon will give me a gift!!
= 22 I’m good too, so please (even though I’m an adult) give me a present ㅠㅠ
– Fan signing is in December and fan meeting is in February, so I could go to both if I win, right?
= Nope. Cocoa said you can only attend one. Either fan signing or fan meeting.
= Whyㅠㅠ I wanna go to both ㅠㅠ
= Golden hands get 2 tickets, cursed hands (you and me) get 0.
= Understood.
= WHY are you so okay with this lol
– Are y’all still chatting? The application site just went live a few minutes ago!
= !! LET’S GO !!
= Time to apply!!!
– Everyone, double-check your address and phone number! One digit off and the gates of hell will open ㅠㅠ
= +) After applying, take a screenshot or photo of the page. It will save you from that future spiral of “Wait… did I enter it correctly? No, I think I messed it up!! NOOOㅠㅠ”
= +) How do I know? I wish I didn’t…… lol

= Thank you ㅠㅠ Screenshot taken ✅
The application pages for actor Lee Seo-jun’s fan signing & fan meeting opened simultaneously worldwide.
As always, under the guidance of [From Sprout Korea], Sprouts in each time zone coordinated access so the servers wouldn’t crash.
– I don’t care what other sites do, this one CANNOT crash.
= 22 This is the Lee Seo-jun fan signing AND fan meeting site.
= (WTV Awards site, which crashed multiple times): Why always me ㅠㅠㅠ
= LOLLL
“……That’s a lot.”
At Cocoa Entertainment’s Team 1 office, dedicated to actor Lee Seo-jun.
As the application period ended and they checked the number of Sprouts who signed up for the fan signing and fan meeting, Seo-jun and the staff all wore stunned expressions.
Sure, fan café memberships included inactive users, so there might’ve been a few extras, but—
“Everyone on this list has been actively participating as a Sprout up until now.”
At Seo-jun’s quiet gasp of awe, the deputy team leader added:
“It’s not just the applicants. When you think about the Sprouts who couldn’t apply—those overseas who can’t come to Korea due to time or money…”
She didn’t need to finish the sentence. The scale was obvious.
“I just feel… kind of guilty.”
“Yeah, same here.”
Choosing only 300 fans for the fan signing, and a limited number for the fan meeting (even if it was by random draw) weighed heavily on both Seo-jun and Team 1.
It was that feeling…
He’d always known his fans were passionate and numerous, but seeing it all laid out like this—it hit different. His heart swelled with emotion.
And seeing how many overseas Sprouts had applied pricked at his conscience even more. He’d never once done a fan meeting or stage performance abroad.
“Deputy Team Leader.”
“Hm?”
At Seo-jun’s voice, the deputy, Tae-woo, and the rest of Team 1 turned their eyes away from the monitor.
“When we go to the U.S. for filming… would a fan meeting be possible?”
Their eyes widened in surprise.
Not long after—
The winners of actor Lee Seo-jun’s fan signing & fan meeting were announced.
Every single Sprout who had applied was clasping their hands together in prayer. Among them was Yeonghwagaek (aka “Film Guest”), a famous YouTuber and well-known Sprout.
After praying to the Blue Dragon and Baby Angel, Yeonghwagaek said:
“Well then, let’s check.”
– This time, it’s full random. Can’t even use the sibling account cheat LOL
– One vote for definitely getting rejected.
– 2222
“But maybe heaven will take pity on me?”
As the cursor hovered over the “Check Results” button, some viewers in the chat called out the elephant in the room.
– You say you have bad luck, but you’ve seen Seo-jun more than any of us.
– 222 Been to a fan meeting. Saw him at Cannes.
– 33 You even saw his play.
– ? Wait, that’s true?
– That’s true? That’s true? That’s true?
– !! DECEIVER!!
– DECEIVEEERRR!!
🔥🔥🔥
The chat flared up in righteous fire, and Yeonghwagaek quickly continued.
“Okay, okay, I’m checking now!”
Click.
The moment the mouse button was pressed…
A whole new world opened before Yeonghwagaek’s eyes.
[Lee Seo-jun’s Fan Signing Event] Congratulations on Winning.
“IIIII WOOOOONNNN!! FAN SIGNINGGGG!! I’M INNNNN!!!”
He forgot it was a livestream.
Leaping from his chair, arms raised high, Yeonghwagaek screamed like a lunatic.
– I TOLD YOU HE’S A DECEIVER!!! 🤬
– So lucky ㅠㅠ I didn’t make it ㅠㅠㅠ
– FRAUD!!! FRAUD!!!
– A FAN SIGNING. A FAN SIGNING!!
Furious, savage comments exploded in the chat… but the live manager didn’t moderate.
– Manager: YA THIS $#!^$!&)% 😤
Because they too… were a fellow Sprout, just as mad as everyone else.
Moments later…
The “real” Yeonghwagaek returned to his chair. Although judging by his twitching smile, he hadn’t calmed down that much.
“Ahem. I have been selected to attend the fan signing.”
– Must be nice.
– Lucky jerk.
– Good. For. You.
Despite the sarcastic or vaguely curse-like comments, Yeonghwagaek was nothing but ecstatic.
“So, I’ll attend the fan signing in December next month and do a review livestream afterward. Until then, if there’s anything you want to ask actor Lee Seo-jun, leave it in the comments! I’ll pick three and ask him at the event!”
– AAAAAAAHHHH!!!
– YEONGHWAGAEK YOU LEGEND!!!
– You’re the only one we have!!
“And once I receive the physical ticket, I’ll go live again to show you all!”
A few days later—
Yeonghwagaek went live.
“Ta-da! This right here is the ticket to Lee Seo-jun’s very first fan signing! Only 300 Sprouts will ever get to hold one of these!”
He proudly held up the ticket, covering all sensitive info before showing it to the camera.
– I’m so jealous ㅠㅠㅠ
– Like seriously, I’m so jealous ㅠ
The chat overflowed with envy.
“I’m going on Friday. That’s day one. Sure, day two and the final day are great too, but nothing beats day one for a first fan signing! Everyone’s hearts are full of excitement—actors and fans alike! Right?!”
– Aaaargh I wanna go too!!
– 222 Take me with you!!
– Stuff me in your bag pleaaase!
“Haha, I think my bag’s a bit too small for that.”
Yeonghwagaek looked genuinely thrilled, and the viewers were sincerely envious.
“Well, I’ll keep this ticket somewhere safe for now… and since food should be arriving soon, let’s eat together and talk about Seo-jun’s works, yeah?”
He carefully placed the ticket back in its envelope and began clearing his desk.
– It’s a Seo-jun special tonight lol
– When a film reviewer’s happy, they start reviewing lolol
– Don’t know if this is a legit review or just fan rambling, but I’m here for it either way as a fellow Sprout
Yeonghwagaek tidied the desk to make room for his incoming dinner.
A moment later—
Ding-dong!
“Dinner’s here! I’ll go grab it real quick!”
He grinned as he disappeared off screen.
– What did he order?
– Yukhoe + bibimbap
– Ooooh, raw beef? Nice!
– I’m ordering some too now lol
The plastic rustled as he returned, taking out the yukhoe and bibimbap containers, along with a small cup of sauce.
“I’ll use my own utensils.”
He went off screen again, returned with a spoon and chopsticks, then started mixing his food.
“As for Seo-jun’s next project? Hmm, I’m not sure… but I hope it’s a play. When he was in middle and high school, he’d do a play every three years around graduation. But now he’s in college and finished military service…”
– Yeah, it’s in a weird gap period.
– He’ll definitely do one again someday!
– Not that I’ll get a ticket when he does lol ㅠㅠㅠ
“I also have a younger sister!”
– Hand her over. I want a big sister like you.
– Gimme that big sis!!
Yeonghwagaek laughed along with the chat, happily finishing his meal. Then he neatly stacked the plastic containers to wash later.
“Well, that’s the end of today’s stream. Hehe. Have a lovely evening, everyone. I’ll just sit here… and look at my fan signing ticket… just look at it and—huh?”
He looked at his desk.
The freshly cleaned, not-a-single-crumb-left, sparkling clean desk.
His eyes began to shake.
A cold sweat broke out.
Yeonghwagaek bent over and peered under the desk, then got down on his knees and crawled underneath entirely. He paid no attention at all to the still-running livestream camera.
– ???
– What’s he doing??
He suddenly popped up from the floor, panic on his face, and began frantically patting down his clothes. He shoved his hands into his pants pockets, flipped out the sides of his jacket pockets—
– Why does this look exactly like me when I lose something?
– …Wait? Now that you mention it??
– It’s not there??
– That thing?
“It’s gone… It’s GONE…!”
– THE TICKET!!
“My TIIICKET!!”
Yeonghwagaek, now pale as a ghost, let out a bloodcurdling scream.
