Superstar 831
by CristaeWhen Director Wilma, Haley Roge, the screenwriter, trainers, and the stunt team had all arrived—
Seo-jun’s birthday party officially began.
Standing before his guests, Seo-jun spoke.
“Thank you for coming to my birthday party today. I invited you all rather suddenly, so I didn’t expect this many people to come.”
The invited guests, knowing the behind-the-scenes story of Seo-jun forgetting his own birthday, chuckled softly.
“I may have forgotten, but thankfully my manager and agency remembered, so the party came together perfectly. I want to take this chance to thank my manager and the company again.”
As Seo-jun smiled, the guests clapped toward Manager Choi Tae-woo and the King’s Agency staff standing to the side.
“I hope you all have a great time today. The food’s delicious, so please enjoy.”
As the soft music resumed, the party-savvy guests returned to their conversations.
Seo-jun headed toward the group closest to him—Jack Smith and his friends, long-time buddies who greeted him warmly.
“Happy birthday, Jun!”
“Thanks for the invite.”
“Thanks for coming. Eat a lot before you go.”
“Oh, don’t worry—we’re already on it.”
Clearly.
Seo-jun laughed at the heaping plates of food Jack and his friends held.
“When’s your next day off? Let’s hang out.”
“Don’t forget this time, Jun.”
“I won’t!”
After promising a hangout with his friends, Seo-jun moved on to thank other guests.
“Thanks for coming today.”
“It’s your birthday, of course we came.”
“Happy birthday.”
After greeting everyone and wrapping up with the Shadow & Night team, Seo-jun scanned the party.
As the host, he checked to make sure everyone was having a good time.
He had worried that his athlete friends like Jack Smith might feel out of place among the film crowd—
“Jack Smith! I’m a huge fan!”
“Thank you. I really enjoyed your movie too, Kendrick. Want me to sign something?”
—but it seemed there was nothing to worry about.
The trainers were chatting comfortably with the actors they’d been working with during training.
“You should consider doing an action movie with Jun.”
“Seriously, think about it.”
The subject was a bit odd, but still.
“Jun! Let’s take a photo together!”
“Sure, haha!”
Seeing everyone so happy made Seo-jun happy too.

[Guests invited to actor Seo-jun’s birthday party!]
[Is this a film festival? Stars gather for Seo-jun Lee’s birthday bash!]
- Wow. As expected from a superstar. That guest list is insane.
= Yeah, you could’ve told me it was an awards show, and I’d believe it.
= But with a pro baseball player added in, lol.
- Didn’t Dan Kendrick say he was a hardcore Dodgers fan?
= Yup. How to find Dan Kendrick: go to Dodger Stadium on game day.
= He’s practically an NPC there, lol.
= Ooh, he posted a photo on social media with Jack Smith’s autograph. (Dan’s expression is off-the-charts happy.)
= Honestly, he looks happy just from the pic, lol.
- There are a bunch of people I don’t recognize. Is it just me?
= Nope, same here. Apparently the unfamiliar faces are action trainers. They’re training with Seo-jun for New Eclipse, and someone said he invited them to his birthday party.
= Wow, sounds like he gets along great with everyone.
= Seo-jun’s known for having a great personality.
- His birthday celebrations are always next level. The fan projects were huge this year too.
= Yeah, I’m not even a fan, but I love his work. Took a photo in front of the banner—looked awesome.
- I wanna take a pic with the Survivors banner but can’t find it… it might get taken down after today 😭
=(Map link: Seo-jun banner locations in Korea) Try this out 😊
= Wait, there’s a map?
= It’s convenient but also hilarious that it’s labeled “Korea” map, lol.
= So there’s a global version too, I guess, lol.
= Seo-jun scale is no joke 😂
- But are the banners really getting tossed after today? Isn’t that environmental waste?
= Judging from the map, there’s a ton. Throwing all that away would be…
= (Sprout) All banners will be collected and sent to an upcycling company to be made into eco-bags.
= Oh wow. Even the cleanup is thoughtful.
[From Sprouts]
[Notice: Info on upcycled eco-bags made from Seo-jun banners]
- I hope I get one that says “Happy Birthday Seo-jun” in a foreign language. That would be so cute.
= There were tons of messages aside from the birthday ones.
= And every eco-bag is a one-of-a-kind design!
= I’m buying this. No question.
- Imagine getting the eyes portion of a banner? Night Jin’s intense gaze! Ga-ram’s soulful look! Prince Seongnyeong’s adorable sparkle!
= OMG! If I got that I’d un-stitch the bag and frame it on my wall.
= If it’s Jin Natra’s eyes, it’d be nightmare fuel, lol. (Still want it.)
= Zombie from Escape would be cool too… probably… (Still want it x2)
= Realistically, it’ll probably just look like pixels 😭
= Since the banners are so big, even the eyes would cover a blanket.
= I want a blanket-sized eco-bag 😭
= LOL that’s not even a bag at that point.
- But it’s first-come-first-served?!
= WHY?! Why is it first-come?!
= There’s not enough material to make many 😭
= But wait… earlier someone said the banners were huge??
= They are, but not enough for all the sprouts 😂😭
- At least there’s a limit of one per person… never mind. Even if they made thousands, I probably wouldn’t get one 😭
= Me reliving the pain of being waitlisted for the play 😭
= Slightly better odds than the play?
= Still a single-digit percentage 😭
- Let’s make next year’s project banners again.
= Yes. Let’s keep using banners until I get my eco-bag. (Serious)
= Seconded. (In bold.)
= Thirded. (All caps.)
Just as comments of agreement flooded the page—
A YouTube notification popped up.
- Gasp! Seo-jun oppa is LIVE!
It was 11 PM in Korea. 7 AM in LA.
Seo-jun’s YouTube live had started.
“Hello, sprouts.”
His appearance was neat, but his cozy aura gave away the fact that he’d clearly just woken up.
- AAAAAHHH!!!
- Seo-jun 😭😭😭
- Happy birthday!!!
As the chat flooded with teary-eyed congratulations, Seo-jun smiled softly. Even in languages he didn’t know, he could guess the sentiment.
“Thank you. Today—or was it yesterday? Hmm. Since it’s still March 10th in Korea, let’s say today. Today was amazing. The birthday gifts the sprouts prepared were truly incredible. I was bragging about them to all my party guests.”
Sprouts beamed. You could feel how genuinely happy he was.
- Hehehehe
- Next year. Again.
“And I heard the banners are going to be upcycled too. That’s really awesome.”
Seo-jun didn’t mean to, but…
Looking at the live viewer count, the sprouts collectively realized something.
- Oh no…!
-/Everyone here is a rival for the eco-bags./
-NOOOOOO!!!
Sprouts began to cry.
- Will I… get one?
-/Goodbye. My eco-bag./
-/Just sell handkerchiefs instead./
- That sounds nice. A handkerchief! …Never mind. 😭
Seeing the resignation in the sprouts’ comments, Seo-jun just laughed.
After hearing how many eco-bags Coco Entertainment expected to produce, he had nothing more to say.
That’s when he spotted a timely question.
- Why did you play the violin?
“You mean at the LA Conservatory?”
The chat quieted instantly. All ears on their actor.
“It’s easy to get nervous performing in front of a crowd. But that kid was still having fun despite the mistakes. As someone who loves the violin, I wanted to join in.”
He hoped it would be a good memory for the kid.
- You took pictures for people at the stadium too?
- Literally took them for others 😂
- LMAO
Seo-jun laughed along with the sprouts.
“Yes, I did. They even gave me some tasty snacks in return. I also met lots of sprouts. Though… none of them recognized me.”
Most sprouts laughed, but a few cried—those were the ones who’d stood right in front of Seo-jun’s real-life body, took photos with only the banner, and left.
The conversation continued gently.
-/Anything else fun happen?/
“Fun… hmm…”
Seo-jun paused, then smiled sheepishly.
“I, uh… forgot it was my birthday.”
- Gasp. Whose birthday?
-/Rachel Hill? No, she’s in November./
- Evan Block? Swarlene Anum?
-/BrownBlack? BlueMoon??/
- Lee Ji-seok? Park Do-hoon?
-/Ju-kyung? Ji-ho?/
Names flew from every corner—sprouts knew his entire circle.
Avoiding eye contact, Seo-jun finally admitted:
“My birthday.”
- …Excuse me?
-/Come again?/
-/WHOSE birthday?/
That one word broke him. Seo-jun buried his face in his hands.
“My birthday…”
Realizing they hadn’t misheard, the chat went silent.
Then erupted in laughter.
- Wait, your own birthday?!
-/Jun, seriously? 😂/
- How do you forget your own birthday 😂
-/Then how did you invite people?!/
“Yesterday. I found out yesterday.”
With a slightly pink face, Seo-jun added, “I invited everyone yesterday and they still came. I’m really grateful.”
Laughter roared louder. The always-composed Seo-jun was flustered—for the first time.
- LOL I’ve never seen this side of him 😂
- So cute 😭
-/You must’ve been really focused on the movie, huh./
-/But still, forgetting your own birthday is next-level./
- How’d the party get planned then?
“The party was all thanks to my manager and the agency. They even got me presents. Apparently, everyone was fully invested in my birthday—except me.”
- Sounds about right 😂
- Everyone prepped and waited, and he had no idea 😂
- OOH! Jun! Articles just dropped! (link)
- ★Title: Actor Seo-jun Lee Forgets His Own Birthday!★
-/Global news, folks! LOL/
“…Isn’t this a little fast, reporters…?”
Seo-jun did another dry face rub. Everyone cracked up.
Well—if everyone was happy, that’s all that mattered.
With a small smile, he said:
“So I’ve made a promise.”
- To what?
“…To never forget my birthday again.”
Ahahahah!
Sprouts were sure they could hear each other laughing, even through the screen.
